Additional Information: The newly formed Theatre Pandora is looking for 4 performers, to appear in an adaptation of The Mandrake by Machiavelli, staged at the Havana Theatre 7-12 oct. Each actor will play every lead role in this physically demanding ensemble production of Machiavelli's hilarious farce, often described as the greatest play in the Italian language. Notes: Every performer will play each of the lead roles over the course of the show. These will include and old and foolish judge, his beautiful and virtuous wife, a ruthless young nobleman and a master trickster. As well playing multiple characters you will also directly address the audience. You will be on stage for the duration of the show. This is a complex and challenging role that will allow you to develop your craft whilst expressing your creativity. Rehearsals: Rehearsals will be held in East Van and will last for 8 hours accept of the dress and tech which will be 4 hours each. You will be required to attend 20 rehearsals plus the tech and dress. The provisional rehearsal schedule is as follows: Sept 8th-12th, 15th-19th, 22nd-26th, 29th-3rd Oct. Tech - 5th, dress- 6th.
